Cuttingboard Care
With a little bit of care, your new cuttingboard will last much longer.
Cleaning
- Wash with not super harsh soap and with soft side of sponge or a rag.
- NOT DISHWASHER SAFE
Maintenance
(every 6 months or sooner if the board looks dry)
- Clean board thoroughly
- Pour a few drops of butcher block conditioner onto board (I use Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner)
- Spread with a clean rag onto cutting board
- Add more drops as needed to cover cuttingboard
- Wait a few minutes
- Buff in the conditioner and wipe off excess
- Let dry for a bit
- Continue using the cuttingboard
